Martin and I went to see Bad Company at Earls Court on a blisteringly hot day(same day as the mens final at Wimbledon) I will never forget the pub we chose to get a beer ( or 6) looked as if it was time warped out of 1945!! All the locals looked like members of the Kray gang and Martin was so cool !! We ordered lots of drinks, ignored the locals and went on with our day. The gig was great and we got very stoned( am i allowed to say that!!), so much so that my  girlfriend of the time got lost driving in a straight line on the motorway!!We all spent the night in the car and had to push it off the motorway because we ran out of petrol!! What i'm trying to say is what amazing man he was, he was my hero!!
